Remote working (Ireland Based) , Day Rate Contract

Job Description:
I am currently recruiting for a Database Administrator to join my client in the consultancy space on a short-term daily rate contract. If you are currently on the lookout, reach out ASAP as this is an urgent hire!

Responsibilities:

• Manage and optimize databases for performance, security, and reliability.
• Monitor, configure, and troubleshoot cloud-hosted databases.
• Implement best practices for backup, recovery, and security.
• Collaborate with developers on database design and scalability.
• Document configurations and processes.

Key Skills:

• Strong knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) databases.
• Beneficial to have DBA experience with Graph Databases and Google Cloud Spanner
• Expertise in performance tuning, query optimization, and security.
• Experience with Google Cloud Spanner (preferred).
• Proficiency in database monitoring and automation.
